We tell you all about us. Episode 1: Jason and Ludovic, warehouse managers

14 March 2024

We’d like you to find out more about our jobs and the men and women who do them. We start with the Warehouse Managers.

Our business is built on 2 legs, “the tile” and “shipping”. So we have 2 warehouse managers: Ludovic for dispatch and Jason for the floor.

Two different backgrounds and two people who are delighted to get up in the morning to go to work!

Ludovic joined Lagache 6 years ago.
He was looking for a job as an order picker and saw an advert for Lagache. That was the start of a wonderful adventure. He had previously worked for Andes, a social reintegration network. He only had the basics of the job; Lagache trusted him and taught him everything. His role is an important one: he checks vegetable deliveries and order forms, prepares the goods and dispatches them throughout France. “I do my utmost to do my job well, because if a product isn’t beautiful or the orders aren’t properly prepared, that’s just more goods coming back! In my job, I love everything, and when I get up in the morning, I’m so happy to come to work that I arrive an hour early!

Jason arrived during the lockdown.
“I used to work in the restaurant business. With the lockdown, everything stopped and I didn’t feel like doing nothing! I saw an advert on Bon Coin, so I took a chance and I was lucky! I didn’t know anything about the job, but my colleagues taught me everything I needed to know. Jason prepares the orders, receives the goods, takes care of placing the products on the counter, and organises displays in agreement with the team. He makes sure that the counter is clean and that the goods are displayed to their best advantage. “A clean counter, beautiful merchandise, no errors in orders – all these things keep customers coming back for more! Jason also supervises a team of stock pickers and does the occasional order picking. Jason is delighted with his job: “I like the contact with customers, the exchanges with the teams, the variety, the new products. Everyone does each other favours. There’s also the chance to progress at Lagache, which is important and makes you want to do it.

Both are proud to work for Lagache. That’s why, in a few words
