French sweet potatoes make their debut at Lagache

From Monday, we’re delighted to bring you a 100% French sweet potato… and not just any sweet potato!
An exceptional sweet potato!

Loïc explains:
“There’s something unique about this sand-coloured sweet potato with its orange flesh. It’s harvested by hand and graded by hand. The result: a perfect appearance and, above all, a better shelf life, because it hasn’t been cut.”
After several months of searching, we found the producer we were looking for: Romain Pouenard, based in the Drôme.

Producer profile
Romain took over a farm 7 years ago. Passionate about his work, he started with the Délicatesse potato, the top of the range in its category. Today, he’s continuing his adventure with sweet potatoes and other vegetables.
Surrounded by forests and hedgerows, his farm is integrated into the natural landscape.
For Romain, respect for nature and quality go hand in hand. HVE (High Environmental Value) certification was therefore an obvious choice for him.
