Marie, YES YOU CAN!
03 October 2023
The whole team is extremely proud to join me in announcing that Marie Thenaisy has successfully transformed her 2-year work-study programme into a well-deserved permanent contract!
We are proud to share this news, because Lagache is a professional and human story, a state of mind with strong values that we embody on a daily basis and that enable us to move forward as one:
- A reciprocal commitment: as part of her studies at IFAG, Marie chose to complete her 2-year work-study programme at Lagache, on the job. She gave it 100%. We trained her in the floor sales function, supported her and gave her the means to succeed. That’s also part of having a CSR approach to governance: passing on. We don’t have any generational conflict, but we do have a great complementarity and energy. It’s undeniably one of our strengths.
- We’ve put our trust in each other. It’s one of the company’s core values, to believe in oneself and in others: we work in a profession and in an environment that are over-represented by men, and in which strong links have often been established with customers over many years. Marie has managed to assert herself with elegance, earn respect and win the trust of her customers.
- Shared performance. At Lagache, performance is also about people! And that’s essential. In our environment, there are 2 ways of recruiting: integrate an experienced sales person from the ranks or a young graduate. I deliberately choose a mix of these profiles. At the end of the day, I can see that it’s a win-win situation.
- What Marie brings to the company: her youth, her enthusiasm, her approach to business, her important contribution to the social life of the company, her pugnacity, her positive mix, her smile. Born in the Perche region of France and the daughter of a farmer, Marie grew up with a love of local produce, quality and taste.
From1 October, we’re putting him in charge of a fruit department alongside Christophe, Simon and Victor, with a special focus on bananas, exotic fruit and avocados.
Well done Marie!
