The article on the FreshPlazza website highlights Lagache’s efforts to promote fruit and vegetables from virtuous production, in particular eco-responsible orchards. At the height of apple season, we’re keen to raise awareness among our early delivery customers of the importance of eco-responsible approaches and the quality of the produce on offer. Noting that greengrocers do little to publicise labels such as HVE or Zéro Résidus de Pesticides (Zero Pesticide Residue), Lagache has taken the initiative of helping these retailers to highlight these certifications, which demonstrate a strong commitment to biodiversity.
For the second year running, we are selecting specific varieties such as the Rubis Gold or the Poire des Alpes de Haute Durance, for their exceptional taste and environmentally-friendly production. We firmly believe that these approaches will become essential to the harmonious development of the fruit and vegetable sector.
