I’m taking advantage of the launch of the LULU clementine campaign to pay tribute to this 30-year partnership! A story of people, a story of products, a story of shared visions and values.

- It’s a story that’s been going on for 30 years: Bernard Dejean has seen Lagache grow and develop. It was with Nicole Lagache – the mother of Guy Lagache, from whom I bought the company 3 years ago – that the relationship began! It has continued to develop over the years.
- Rare expertise: based in the province of Valencia in Spain, where citrus fruit is at its best, Bernard Dejean has been selecting the best varieties and orchards for 30 years to guarantee consistently high quality. To cover a wider season, and always with the same exacting standards, Bernard Dejean identifies later varieties from suitable terroirs.
- Bernard Dejean’s magic: he’s a goldsmith in his field and true to his aim of offering the ultimate in clementines, oranges and lemons. His approach is traditional and responsible. He’s not looking for quantity, but for consistent quality.
- Over the years, Bernard Dejean and his wife Marie-Claude have brought their LULU brand to life. In the fruit and vegetable sector, it’s rare for a brand to be demanded by consumers. They have succeeded in creating just that.
