Things are happening at the Expé! 🚀
New faces, an evolving organization, new products, and unprecedented challenges… At Lagache Lomme, Shipping is undergoing a full transformation! And 2026 will not have been a year like any other. Victor Luchart takes us behind the scenes of a department in full development.
👥 A sales team that’s growing and honing its expertise
Five years ago, Hubert Duez was running things alone. Today, the team has seven people! On the sourcing side, everyone is honing their expertise: ratatouille and endives for Hubert, tomatoes and cabbages for Victor, berries for Marie DECLERCK, apples and pears for Rachid Tahar. Céline Buret, who joined a month ago, boosts sales with local authorities and buying groups. Amélie GAGNO, who joined three months ago, helps the team with administrative and logistical follow-up.
Our goal ?
An increasingly sharp expertise in products and producers, more responsiveness, and impeccable quality to meet growing demand. Our direction stays the same: a short, high-end range with strong commercial potential. On the client side, everyone manages their own portfolio and remains the go-to contact. Closeness, trust, and good communication within the team are essential !
📦 Things are moving in the prep area too!
More customers also means more orders!
Marie and Christian, our two pillars, are supported by seasonal reinforcements. A dedicated warehouse and new recruitments are planned to support our growth.

🌦️ Facing climate uncertainties, one watchword: adapt
“No one was spared this year” “We experienced significant supply and quality issues, despite the reliability of our partner producers.”
Faced with shortages, we need to quickly find alternatives without compromising on quality.
This year, Plan B wasn’t enough. We had to come up with Plan C, even D!
A sourcing and collective agility challenge that could well become our new reality.

2026 also marks the arrival of the French tomato ‘Golden Heart’ and the launch of Honoré, our own brand that joins Histoire de Producteurs and brings together high-end pepper, apple, and pear producers from the Benelux.
New opportunities to introduce our customers to great products!
